The city of Nashik has special significance. The very first Indian film was visualised and produced here by Dadasaheb Phalke that acted as the trigger for the genesis of the Indian film industry – a giant in the global entertainment map today.
The 4th Nashik International Film festival( NIFF) begins with an Opening Event on 23rd March at CINEMAX Foyer & Screens, City Centre Mall, Nashik.
There will be NIFF Master Workshop by Audrius Stonys. This is a workshop cum documentary film making competition, mentored by the acclaimed European film maker from Lithuania. After an application and selection process, 4 teams of 5 young film makers will ideate, shoot & edit a documentary each, not exceeding 5 minutes within the festival’s duration of 4 days to be screened at the closing ceremony on the 25th day of March.
There will be following events during the festival between 23rd- 25th March.
